Devotion technique comes from our human capacity to love to achieve everything, it implies no effort because it is just LOVE.
Not many people know that one of the greatest powers of human beings is the power of devotion, which can take one beyond the human side of our beings. Devotion is a very precise technique which comes from our human capacity to love to achieve everything.
That said, one should understand that the power of devotion is something infinite, as much as love is, and that no other power is comparable to it. Even when something says that its path is that of knowledge, the person does not realize that devotion is needed in order to achieve it.
A doctor does not become a doctor without devotion to the study of medicine, the same way that an engineer does not become one without devotion to engineering. Devotion is the fuel without which the engine would not work. I would not have got where I am today, –if I have got somewhere at all–, without the faculty of devotion to the thing in itself. The problem is that one pigeonholes devotion in a world of religiosity. We only consider mystic people religious, however even someone who wants to become a butcher has to cultivate that devotion, otherwise he would not become a butcher, or he would turn out to be a bad butcher.
Devotion turns our attention to something we consider important, the same way as we would with a newborn child who needs care. Without this, devotion doesn’t work and doesn’t excel. This is why even in Ammonia devotion is fundamental. We must always practice with tenacity what we are given, but tenacity is not enough because it indicates an effort of the mind, devotion implies no effort because it is just LOVE.
Does love require effort to manifest itself? If it requires some effort, that is certainly not love. So if you have devotion for the things you do, they will not only appear easier, but they will become a reality. Being devoted shouldn’t be seen as a weakness but only as a force, which is impossible to understand to those who do not experience it. But it would be easy to understand, if we saw how people put their devotion into the most foolish of things and that it only wastes their time. Cheering in sports for example is just a waste of what could be a terrible force for success in other fields. How much time is wasted in one’s life by pouring the greatest strength we have into useless things. But it is certainly about the period we live in that takes us there, because it only stimulates material desires and no higher achievements at all.
Devotion, for those who cultivate it, is already in itself a guarantee of freedom and strength, a guarantee of love and of final achievement. Don’t be fooled, nothing in life can be achieved without it, or without it having a most important role, and I repeat again to clarify things for everyone: EVEN IN AMMONIA SCIENCE, DEVOTION IS NEEDED, AND WHO GET CLOSE TO THE AMMONIAN SCIENCE WITHOUT DEVOTION WILL GET DELUSION, JUST AS WITH EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT GRASPED BY THE HEART, THE ONLY ORGAN WHICH GIVES DEVOTION.
Being devoted to a GOD OR TO A MANIFESTATION OR TO A MASTER ECC. will lead to the DEFINITION OF A PURPOSE FOR ITS ACHIEVEMENT, BY SHOWING WHAT THE FINAL AIM IS. So being devout should not be seen as a weakness, or a lack of backbone or as being happy in a minor way, as a blunder. But on the contrary, as the greatest gift that our destiny could give us, because by being devout one assimilates oneself to the thing to which one is devout and therefore becomes THE THING ITSELF!
So if you look at it the right way, it is not only the fuel but also the engine of everything and you should not overlook the action that it implies from down to up. Devotion is indeed the greatest example of one’s own will, as projected towards an objective that, even though it may be far away, precisely because of the fact of being devoted to it, it is already achieved! It will only be a matter of time, as though we live in time and space, but it’s ALREADY REACHED! For the ones who understand all this, the greatest path of attainment opens up, and therefore worshiping Krishna or Shiva or the Mother Goddess or Odin or whoever WANTS TO BE ENJOYED, is to bring oneself to be one with that principle and thus to assume its powers and metaphysical possibilities, to the point that one will become THE GOD OR THE GODDESS OF LOVE.
Just as one merges with the beloved, so one will merge with everything one tends to out of devotion: THE ONES WHO LOVE DRUGS WILL BECOME DRUGS; THE ONES WHO LOVE FOOTBALL WILL BECOME FOOTBALL; THE ONES WHO ONLY LOVE SEX, WILL BECOME SEX, AND THE ONES WHO LOVE A GOD, WILL BECOME GOD. YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE CHOICE…
That is the power of devotion in a few lines for those who need to know what it aims at and what it is: WITHOUT DEVOTION THE WORLD COULD NOT BE MADE… IF GOD HAD NO DEVOTION, THERE WOULD BE NO EXISTENCE.
